What type of psychotherapist am I?

I am an integrative psychotherapist. That means I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to help clients address presenting challenges in their life. Of note, I specialize in trauma, with a trauma-informed background and a person-centred approach to treatment.

What kinds of Therapy do I use?

I have earned certification for and use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). I also use approaches from other types of therapy, such as Narrative Therapy, Inner Child Work, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
